Print-ready resources for worship & reflection
Using texts from the Revised Common Lectionary, the resources include:
- Weekly bulletin with liturgy and prayers (in both color and black & white versions)
- Weekly images to color
- Prayer prompts for praying with prayer beads
Video instructions are included for creating your own Protestant prayer beads. This simple project is ideal for individuals, families, small groups, Sunday School classes, or as part of a multi-generational event involving the entire congregation.

About the liturgies
Four contemplative Advent liturgies for use with Protestant prayer beads (optional, see video to make your own either individually or as a group project) and accompanying coloring pages in a variety of formats. Each weekly liturgy, created by Lynn Willis, includes the following:
- Invocation
- Confession
- Scripture
- Prayer
- Time to be still (including options for coloring* and/or praying with beads*)
- Blessing
*Explore coloring and praying with beads as spiritual practices.

How to use?
Congregations
- As part of Sunday worship during Advent
- For special mid-week Advent services
- Worshipers can be invited to pray with their prayer beads and / or color the black and white images during a period of quiet reflection
Individuals
- As personal devotions during Advent
- Daily prayer with the beads
- Coloring the black and white versions provides time to reflect on the messages

LITURGIES – PRINT READY BULLETINS
Each 2-page weekly bulletin includes an invitation to reflect in several different ways:
- using prayer beads (see video for instructions to create your own prayer beads as a project for groups of all ages, families or individuals)
- by coloring and writing on the bulletin images
Three different versions of each bulletin are available in both PDF and Publisher formats:
- black & white – may be colored during worship or at a later time
- color – includes both a full color image and a black & white image to be colored
- full color – with no coloring option however the image has space to write in short prayers
