The virus. The pain. The fear.
I’m hearing this from the service provider as I call to get my wifi working so I can Zoom with you. He is in the Philippines. I hear it in text messages. In the prayers of children, who can’t sleep. The universe is in chaos.
How are you? Be honest.
We can join the collective panic. We can yearn for the past, which was only a few weeks ago. We can imagine a new normal will emerge. Or, we can check all of the above as we step forward.
Resiliency is the ability to recover quickly. Don’t let this fool you into thinking recovery is going back to what was. Or easy. The only real path is forward. And it is one step at a time.
Let’s do this together. Join in the movement of a noontime prayer. Prepare now for something you’ve never done before. Life after the pandemic will be new for everyone on the planet. We are collectively being born again this Lenten season.
